Overview

The Jeanne B. McCoy Community Center for the Arts was constructed to serve both the educational needs of the district schools as well as to provide a gathering space for a wide variety of community events. Day to day, the schools uses it for activities such as: band; orchestra; lectures and assemblies; chorus; ensemble; drama/theatre; and musicals. At other times the Center presents a wide variety of entertainment programming.

Totaling 36,000 SF, the Community Center for the Arts houses a: 750 seat theatre; experimental black box theatre; dance studio; scene shop; dressing rooms; class rooms; box office; concession area; offices; and storage.

The Jeanne B. McCoy Community Center for the Arts is the center for experiencing the arts in the New Albany community.
