Springfield Masonic Community
Expansion and renovation project includes 65 new studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments and a new 96-bed skilled nursing facility, including a transitional care unit and a 32-bed residential care facility. These homes were modernized to offer state-of-the-art comfort in a new wellness-based environment. The project included a new activity pavilion and courtyard adjacent the south side of the apartment addition. There were extensive renovations to the York Rite Building including conversion of an old chapel into a library/reading room as well as an on-site physician’s clinic and workout area. These improvements allowed SMC residential structures to have more of a homelike environment.
